Here’s how it works:
Make a purchase at any participating store or restaurant.
Each purchase earns you a punch on your Shop & Stroll card.
Turn in your card once you’ve collected 3 punches at Lost Appalachia or Water Stone. At 7pm, we’ll draw from the submitted cards and give away fantastic prizes donated by our local businesses.
Important: All punch cards must be turned in by 6:45pm to qualify.

Top-Out Taproom: Rope Coasters w/ Grayson Cooper
Want to make something handmade for yourself or for a loved one?
Join Grayson Cooper as he walks you through how to make rope coasters. All materials will be provided. (But if you have any old rope, you’re welcome to bring it to make a rope cup!)
Don’t want to make a rope coaster but want to hang out? Bring your own craft and join the crafting circle!

Top-Out Taproom: Pie Potluck Night & Food Drive
Water Stone Outdoors is hosting a Pie & Dessert Potluck night! Bring a dessert to share and/or canned goods and enjoy a slice of pie with friends and community.
Bonus: Cherry River Roasting Company will be pouring samples of their coffee as well!
We are teaming up with Bud’s Recycling and will deliver the canned goods to rural food programs serving the west side of the county (including a YMCA-linked pantry and a county-wide delivery program).
Can’t make it to the event? No problem! Drop your canned goods anytime in our in-store collection bin, courtesy of Bud’s Recycling.

Fayetteville's Gnomevember
Get ready, because something magical is happening in Fayetteville this November. The town is about to be overrun by gnomes! From November 1st to 30th, Fayetteville transforms into a whimsical wonderland as gnomes of all shapes and sizes take up residence all over town. It’s time to grab your gnome hunting gear and set out on a Gnomevember Scavenger Hunt—a month-long adventure that’s fun for all ages!

The new climbing and pickleball gym in town, Gripped Fitness, is excited to introduce themselves to the community! They’ll be hosting a short presentation to share more about the wide range of services and amenities their gym will offer, followed by a Q&A session to answer some of the most common questions.
Gripped Fitness wants to hear directly from YOU, the local climber or pickleball enthusiast, about what matters most. Whether it’s facility features, training programs, leagues, or events, your input will help shape how the gym best serves the community.

Trail Cleanup with Black Diamond & AccessFund
Come give back to the New River Gorge by spending a few hours helping maintain and clean the trails around Sandstonia and Bubba City with AccessFund, NRAC, and the Black Diamond crews!
We will be meeting at the Sandstonia Parking Lot at 9am. There will be bagels and coffee! Please bring water and (if possible) gloves.
This event is open to all, and is part of the Golden Carabiner event

A world of pure imagination awaits with the New River Gorge Golden Carabiner Hunt! Presented by Water Stone Outdoors and Black Diamond, this climbing scavenger hunt will raise funds for the New River Alliance of Climbers. 30 Golden Carabiners will be hidden in the Gorge for you and your partner to find and redeem for Black Diamond prizes! We will finish the evening with an afterparty!
