Each year, Access Fund unites the passionate leaders of the climbing advocacy community to celebrate our victories and tackle the challenges ahead. We bring together local climbing organizations, land managers, landowners, climbing gyms, gear companies, land trusts, and more to forge the future of climbing. Together, we rally for progress, ensuring that our beloved sport continues to thrive and inspire for generations to come.
This year, we’ll meet in the climbing hub of the New River Gorge to experience incredible sandstone climbing and discuss both regional and national access issues. Mark your calendars for 2 days of presentations, panels, and conversations on protecting America’s climbing.

Come help start off the Spring climbing season and meet the folks that are working to help maintain and advocate for the crags and trails in the New River Gorge and surrounding area
AccessFund is a national advocacy organization that inspires and mobilizes the climbing community to protect sustainable access and conserve the climbing environment. Each year, two climbing stewards spend the summer in the New River Gorge, advocating for the land and serving as a bridge between climbers and the crags they love.
NRAC (New River Alliance of Climbers) is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting natural resources, educating climbers of all skill levels about stewardship and environmental responsibility, and celebrating the climbing community.

That means for $60 you get tired, fed, buzzed, entertained, a goodie bag from our sponsors, a cookie from @yumbelcookieco, 2 weeks of KAYA PRO, and a chance at great prizes! AND it’s all to benefit the great climbing of the NRG! If you can’t make the comp, all good.

NRAC’S Pirates Cove Plunder - Bouldering Competition
The first-ever Pirate’s Cove Plunder! This is a friendly (pirate-themed) fundraiser bouldering comp put on by volunteers with the goal of raising money for NRAC! Bring your mateys, don your most swashbuckling apparel (best dressed wins a special prize), and climb on amazing sandstone lakebed boulders for a chance to win some mighty fine prizes! Stick around after for food, music, and prizes.

Here’s how it works:
Make a purchase at any participating store or restaurant.
Each purchase earns you a punch on your Shop & Stroll card.
Turn in your card once you’ve collected 3 punches at Lost Appalachia or Water Stone. At 7pm, we’ll draw from the submitted cards and give away fantastic prizes donated by our local businesses.
Important: All punch cards must be turned in by 6:45pm to qualify.

Fayetteville First Friday
Celebrate Downtown Fayetteville at First Fridays! Held on the first Friday of each month from May through November. These festive evenings will transform downtown Fayetteville into a vibrant gathering place for our local community and visitors alike. Businesses will stay open late, offering extended shopping hours so you can explore all the unique shops, boutiques, and galleries our town has to offer. Court Street will be closed to traffic to host an artisan market, featuring talented local and regional vendors selling handmade goods, arts, and crafts. You’ll also find food trucks, live music, and other entertainment to keep you entertained as you stroll through downtown.
